HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) —  The Howard County Police Department (HCPD) released the name of the man who was found shot several times inside a vehicle in Columbia over the weekend. In an update on Monday, police identified the man as 26-year-old Kendrick McLellan of Baltimore. HCPD said officers were doing routine checks in the 8800 block of Centre Park near Howard High School around 2:15 a.m. on Oct. 12. That's when they discovered McLellan dead in the driver's seat of a parked vehicle behind an office building. Police said McLellan had been shot multiple times. AMBER Alert issued for 7-year-old abducted from Churchville Elementary School As the investigation continues, HCPD is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Police said the circumstances of the shooting including when it happened remain unknown. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the police at 410-313-STOP or [email protected].
