HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) —  The Howard County Police Department (HCPD) released the name of the man who was found shot several times inside a vehicle in Columbia over the weekend. In an update on Monday, police identified the man as 26-year-old Kendrick McLellan of Baltimore. HCPD said officers were doing routine checks in the 8800 block of Centre Park near Howard High School around 2:15 a.m. on Oct. 12. That's when they discovered McLellan dead in the driver's seat of a parked vehicle behind an office building. Police said McLellan had been shot multiple times. AMBER Alert issued for 7-year-old abducted from Churchville Elementary School As the investigation continues, HCPD is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
