WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says a suspect was arrested in a homicide Friday. It happened around 8:20 p.m. in Frotenac. The KBI says Frontenac police received a report of shots fired. Officers responded and found 39-year-old Jonathan D. Brewer of Frontenac unconscious at a neighbor's home in the 800 block of N. Cayuga. EMS arrived and attempted life-saving measures, but Brewer died. Bath and Body Works apologizes for candle designed with what looked like KKK hoods The KBI says the preliminary investigation found that Brewer and another 19-year-old neighbor were involved in a dispute. During the dispute, the 19-year-old allegedly shot Brewer. He was booked on suspicion of second-degree murder. Formal charges are pending.
