HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Ahead of the arrival of BrickUniverse, a LEGO brick art exhibition, at the Richmond Raceway in Henrico County, 8News got an inside look at what attendees can expect to see. 8News Anchors Delaney Hall and Autumn Childress spoke with event organizer Roland Beights about all that the day will entail. "There'll be hundreds and hundreds of different LEGO creations built by artists from across the county, interactive building zones and vendors selling all kinds of Lego goodies," Beights said. Beights brought two pieces of LEGO art to the studio to give viewers a taste of what they may get to see, and explained what went into making them. (Photo: 8News) "These are two horses that took approximately a month to create. You can see that each one is made of about 20,000 pieces," Beights explained. Beights added that some pieces that will be on display during the event took over a year of preparation to create. In reference to the building zones, Beights said attendees will be able to build their own creations and put them on display as well. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Richmond Raceway. To grab your tickets and find more information, visit BrickUniverse's website.
