HANSON, Mass. (WLNE) — Town officials in Hanson are threatening a fine for the individual responsible for projecting former President Donald Trump’s campaign logo on a Massachusetts water tower. “As a governmental entity, the Town of Hanson does not endorse candidates for any office from any political party, nor does the Town allow political signs to be displayed on municipal property,” said Town Administrator Lisa Green in a release. Hanson officials said they do respect the rights of their residents to have free speech, and to express their views, but it misleads the public into thinking it was sanctioned by the town. The Town intends to issue the maximum fine of $100 per day until the activity is discontinued, according to officials. The logo was projected on Friday, October 11.   Categories: News
