SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) —We are starting the day with lots of freeze and frost headlines across the region with morning lows in the 20s and 30s. Here are the morning lows since midnight across the region. Highs today will be similar to yesterday in eastern KELOLAND. We saw mainly upper 50s and lower 60s. The day planner in Sioux Falls shows highs staying in the 50s once again. Here's a look at Futurecast for the week ahead. You can see stronger south winds building across the region on Thursday into Friday with warming highs into the 70s and 80s. A cold front on Friday will start to bring "chances" of scattered rain to the region. We'll continue to follow that story through the week. Ahead of that front, strong south winds will contribute to increasing fire danger across central and eastern KELOLAND Wednesday through Friday. Here are the details of the forecast.
