A rare comet will be visible on the western horizon in the Philadelphia region between Oct. 14-24, according to NASA. The comet, called Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, only passes by Earth once every 80,000 years. Although possibly visible to the naked eye, it's recommended to use either binoculars or a small telescope for the best view.
