PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) -- If you missed seeing Comet C/2023 A3 on Sunday, don't fret! You can still see it!
Previous Coverage: Blog: Warm and breezy Sunday and Monday, cooler temperatures arrive Tuesday
The comet will be visible through the end of October. However, it's expected to get dimmer and higher in the sky each night.

This means that this week is the best time to grab your binoculars or telescope and look toward the sky. For those without either, a zoom camera lens can also work — the comet will look dim to the naked eye.
Previous Coverage: A rare comet brightens the night skies in October
This rare space rock only comes around every 80,000 years, or once in a lifetime.
The comet is not to be confused with Venus, that will appear a lot bright, but rather it'll be just to the right of it.
You can use Stellarium to help map it.
