MANDEVILLE, La. (WGNO) — On the North Shore, 21-year-old Antonio Longino was feeling a little homesick. Downright nostalgic, in fact missing the ice cream he had in Mexico. That's where he was born. That's where he lived until he moved to Louisiana with his family when he was five. Which mayonnaise cheers loudest for LSU football? Now, he's no longer homesick for ice cream. As WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood shows you, he's got his own ice cream shop. It's called Nostalgia Mexican Ice Cream. It's in Mandeville. "Mexican ice cream is Mexico itself, it's vibrant, it's unique, it's colorful. It's like a mariachi band in your mouth," said Longino.
