MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Two men are in jail including a murder suspect who police say led them on a chase in a stolen vehicle Friday in East Memphis. Timothy Woods, 20, is charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, evading arrest, and theft of property auto $10,000-$60,000. He is held in jail on a $200,000 bond. Roderic Crymes, 21, is charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, evading arrest foot pursuit, possession of burglary tools, and theft of property auto $10,000-$60,000. Crymes also had a first-degree murder warrant out for his arrest from a homicide back in August in Highland Heights. His bond was set to $1,175,000. Car stolen at gunpoint near Overton Park; suspect caught after chase (Left to Right: Timonty Woods, Roderic Crymes) On October 11 a little before 2 p.m., officers say they responded to the area of Ridgeway Road and Primacy Parkway regarding a suspicious person call. One male was detained at that time while another male left the scene in a vehicle. Officers say the suspect was later found in the 1300 block of Ridgeway Boulevard and detained. The vehicle was reported stolen, police say. Woods and Crymes are both due in court on Tuesday morning.
