STEPHENSON, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Marinette County say one man is dead and multiple people are hurt following a head-on crash with an RV Sunday morning. According to a release from the Marinette County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded at 11:13 a.m. to Parkway Road near Johnson Falls Road in the Town of Stephenson for reports of a two-vehicle crash. Officials say 58-year-old Kent J. Klempke from Crivitz was headed north on Parkway Road and crossed over the center of the road causing him to collide head-on with an RV motorhome. Sheriff’s Office: Wisconsin man dies after crashing into a parked vehicle Klempke, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene due to his injuries sustained from the crash. The driver of the RV, 54-year-old Mary A. Welch from Woodstock, Illinois, and passengers from both vehicles were taken to the hospital for treatment. Deputies say speed and failure to maintain control appear to be factors in this crash and an investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff's Office into the incident is ongoing.
