CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say they are investigating a homicide in east Charlotte. Officers were called to North Sharon Amity near Central Avenue around 7am on Monday, October 14th for a welfare check. When they arrived on the scene, they located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. MEDIC pronounced the man dead on the scene. Homicide Detectives are current investigating.
