One person in critical condition after shooting in Baton Rouge, police say

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating an early Monday morning shooting that left one person hurt.
Officers responded to the 800 block of Stoney Creek Avenue between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14. Police said they believe one person was shot.
BRPD said the shooting victim was in critical condition and they do not have a suspect or motive at this time.
Multiple East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office vehicles, police tape and evidence markers were observed at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
