BASTROP, Texas (KXAN) — Stephen Allan Smith, 41, was shot and killed in Bastrop County last month. According to the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office, a 13-year-old boy is accused in the case, as of Sept. 16. "This press conference will address the need for a full investigation into the roles played by both the alleged juvenile and adult involved, as well as the firearm used in the incident," the Austin NAACP said in a written statement.
