Several people are being questioned after a gunman shot at a Chicago police squad car Sunday night in Gage Park on the Southwest Side. Around 11:10 p.m., officers in an unmarked squad car responded to the 5200 block of South Homan Avenue for a gang disturbance when a gunman standing with a group of people opened fire, striking the squad car, police said. Officers didn’t return fire and no injuries were reported, officials said. The suspected shooter wasn’t in custody but area detectives were questioning several people of interest.
