ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Rain is around as a large storm system pivots through New York State and Pennsylvania. Temperatures are stuck in the 40s today and the rain slowly tapers as we get through the afternoon. Once the system is out, we are stuck in the 40s and a north flow keeps the rain around through Tuesday and Wednesday. We will be expecting overnight lows in the 30s, and so when precipitation falls across higher elevations south of Rochester, some may fall as a slushy rain and snow mix. The end of the week looks great with clearing skies and warmer temperatures. Expect afternoon highs to get into the 60s by Friday and Saturday under sunshine.
