NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY)-- Newport News police are investigating a shooting early Monday morning. According to dispatch, officers were called to the Wenwood Square Apartments in the 12000 block of Biltmore Court at 3:41 a.m. for the report of a shooting. Courtesy- Raven Payne When officers arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot inside of a residence. He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information at this time.
