MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A 16-year-old is now dead after Shelby County deputies say he was shot in Cordova on Sunday. At around 2:40 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting with injuries on Mill Hill Ave in Cordova. When they arrived, deputies discovered a male teenager on the ground with a gunshot wound. Emergency personnel from Shelby County Fire took the victim to Regional One Hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead. Deputies have a possible suspect detained at this time.
