TAMPA, Fla. (KTAL/KMSS) - Firefighters from Caddo Parish and members of a Louisiana task force are on the ground in central Florida, where floodwaters continue to rise after Hurricane Milton. Members of Caddo Fire District 4 and Louisiana Task Force 2 are assessing and supporting neighborhoods by foot, ATV, and boat as they check on residents' physical and mental health. This helps them locate people who need their assistance. CFD personnel are expected to relocate to Tampa on Sunday night, Oct. 13.
