Richard Phillips is an artist who appreciates movie stars, and he knows what it’s like to be chased by a horde of paparazzi. Phillips was with Lindsay Lohan on the beach in Malibu when she told him, “I want you to see what happens when I’m in public.” “It was like ‘Dawn of the Dead’ with a wall of photographers approaching,” Phillips told me. “She was running in a wet suit carrying a surfboard.” They escaped unscathed. The Brooklyn artist has a show entitled “Best Picture” at Isabelle Bscher’s Galerie Gmurzynska in Zurich. The exhibition includes paintings of Oscar nominees Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Gosling, Cillian Murphy, Margot Robbie, Bradley Cooper and Emily Blunt. Phillips said the 12 portraits — an homage to Richard Bernstein’s covers for Interview magazine — will be exhibited in New York after the Zurich show ends. Fans of “Gossip Girl” already know Phillips’ work because a large painting of his was hanging in the loft of Serena van der Woodsen, played by Blake Lively. “I was invited to the set and joked, ‘When is my cameo?’” The painter was soon in makeup and appearing as himself. “It was the best experience I ever had,” said Phillips, comparing it to Andy Warhol’s appearance on “Love Boat.” **** In the Hamptons, it used to be everyone was a realtor. Now it’s filmmaker. Perfect example: Sam Pezzullo. He’s the maitre d’ at Sag Harbor’s trendy Tutto il Giorno by night, but during the days over the last three years he was making a movie. It’s called “Premiere” and it premiered this week at the Hamptons Film Festival. “People wanted my number for a table not as a director,” he said. “We raised the first round of money by crowdsourcing.” The mockumentary is about mounting a musical version of the ‘Scream’ movies. It features all Sag Harbor locations including the legendary Bay Street Theater, where much of the action takes place. And they didn’t bother with a script. “The whole thing grew out of an improv class so we improvised the whole movie,” said Pezzullo who stars in the film, which he co-directed with Miles Anthony Bouckoms. The comedy is looking for a distributor. Any chance Paramount will see the film? Or even sue? “From your lips to God’s ears,” Pezzullo said. “A lawsuit would be really helpful.” He may have been joking. **** GettyBrittany Snow. (Getty) Brittany Snow, who played a troubled teen on “Guiding Light” for three years, really was a troubled teen. “I was going through anxiety and depression, and I didn’t realize I had an eating disorder, but I was doing weird things with food, and I actually was obsessed with fitness magazines,” Snow told the crowd at the blond [[you can change it to The Blond]] in SoHo marking World Mental Health Day. “I read an article in a magazine about a girl who was doing the exact same things with food and talking the same language that I was speaking in my mind. And I ripped out that article, and I realized that that article made me feel seen … and that article was like the beginning to me getting better.” Snow was with Jasper Guest — her partner in September Letters, a mental health awareness project — and Charlotte Owen, editor-in-chief of online magazine Bustle. But Snow was worried about Hurricane Milton in Florida. “It feels a little surreal to be posing for pictures and smiling when my family is in Tampa and they’re sticking it out, and that’s their journey. Trying to get them out.” **** GettyGary Burr. (Getty) What do Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, Kenny Chesney, Kelly Clarkson and Ringo Starr have in common?
