SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The pilot of a small plane is dead after crashing in a Midtown Savannah neighborhood Sunday night. The passenger has minor injuries, according to the Savannah Police Department. The IAFF Savannah Firefighters said the crash happened around 9:45 p.m. near Habersham and E 66th streets. Saturday shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 arrested Crews worked quickly to free the pilot and passenger trapped inside the aircraft. No other injuries were reported.
