BOSTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Mass General Brigham says they'll be postponing some surgeries because of a nationwide IV fluid shortage caused by Hurricane Helene. Now, Massachusetts's largest hospital and health care system will postpone certain non-emergent, elective procedures. A spokesperson for the health system says the deferrals began this weekend, and will continue through at least Wednesday.
