BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Kern County came together on Saturday to support families who've dealt with infant loss. The 7th annual 'Running for Angels' event for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month took place Oct. 12, at Yokuts Park. The 5k run and walk started bright and early at 7 a.m. People of all ages laced up their sneakers for a good cause. "Just out here really celebrating the resilience of these mothers and of these families," said Javon Dangerfield. "For what they've been through and also honoring the memory of their children. It's beautiful to see all these people come and make sure that we really get true support."
