The Detroit Lions (3-1) will take on the Dallas Cowboys (3-2) in Week 6, with the game being played in Arlington, Texas for the third time in as many seasons. While the Cowboys have won the previous two battles, the most recent was drenched in controversy, the Lions are confident they can keep their emotions in check in an important game with potential future NFC playoff implications. “I’m excited. I’m excited for this one,” Lions coach Dan Campbell said of facing the Cowboys. “And really, look, it’s the next one in front of us and it’s a conference opponent and they’ve had our number for a while and I grew up down there, so I have a lot of people there. I think it’ll be a special game. National television, four o’clock, which, that’s awesome.” Here’s a look at our Pride of Detroit staff picks for the Lions in Week 6: Hamza Baccouche (3-1): 31-20 Lions Morgan Cannon (3-1): 31-24 Lions (Video: Scout the Opponent) Max Gerber (3-1): 17-16 Lions Brandon Knapp (3-1): 31-20 Lions (Scouting report, X factor) Jerry Mallory (3-1): 31-27 Lions Ryan Mathews (3-1): 34-17 Lions (5 questions) Jeremy Reisman (3-1): 31-20 Lions (On Paper) Alex Reno (3-1): 31-17 Lions Kellie Rowe (3-1): 24-20 Lions Ty Schalter (3-1): 34-20 Lions Erik Schlitt (3-1): 31-27 Lions (Scheme breakdowns, Honolulu Blueprint) Meko Scott (3-1): 31-17 Lions (Video: Scout the Opponent) Al Karsten (2-2): 27-16 Lions Zac Snyder (2-2): 30-26 Lions John Whiticar (2-2): 29-20 Lions Chris Perfett (0-3): 32-32 Tie For the rest of our staff NFL picks, be sure to check out our previously posted Week 6 predictions: Moneyline, spread, and over/under.
