NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A house fire in Algiers Point left four people displaced on Saturday, Oct. 12. The New Orleans Fire Department reported that crews responded to a home on Vallette Street around 9:06 p.m. Kenner hires trapper due to influx of coyotes and hogs At the scene, firefighters found a two-story, wood-framed house that contained three apartment units on fire. According to the fire department, four people were displaced as a result of the fire, and two cats survived. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
