The OSU Lake County Master Gardener Volunteers’ last Meet Us in the Garden talk in 2024 will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 2 at the Mentor Public Library Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave. A Master Gardener will present “Putting the Garden to Bed.” It will touch on fall clean-up, pruning, composting, soil testing, amending the soil, mulching for winter, all the activities that help a garden have a good winter nap, according to a news release.
