FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A 16-round shot spotter activation led officers to find a man and several vehicles shot in Fresno early Saturday morning, the Fresno Police Department announced.
Police say around 12:45 a.m. they responded to a 16-round shot spotter activation near Clay and Rowell Avenues.
Upon arrival, responding officers reported a man with a gunshot wound to his leg and five parked vehicles struck by gunfire.
Investigators learned the man was walking out of his apartment with his girlfriend when he was struck. He reported seeing a white vehicle driving away after the shots were fired.
The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
