LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Kentucky led Vanderbilt in almost every offensive category on Saturday night at Kroger Field, but penalties killed the ‘Cats’ chances at a win from start to finish. UK was penalized 12 times for over 100 yards and toiled in time of possession. The Commodores had the ball for almost ten minutes more than Kentucky. Quarterback Brock Vandagriff 15/25 for 158 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, running back Demie Sumo Karngbaye had 12 rushes for 59 yards and a touchdown. Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia rushed for 86 yards and passed for 143. He has two touchdowns as well. Kentucky is back in action versus Florida next week in Gainesville.
