(KRON) – A felon on probation was found with multiple rounds of ammunition in Colma, according to the Colma Police Department announced on Friday.  At 12:07 a.m. on Sept. 25, Colma police officers noticed a BMW parked near a store’s entrance in the Serra Center Shopping Center. Police said the BMW’s registration had been expired for more than two years. Colma PD said Gonzalez was on active probation and could not own a firearm or ammunition. Police located a plastic bag containing multiple rounds of rifle ammunition in the vehicle.  Gonzalez was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition.
