This article has been updated to reflect the latest information.State officials have opened free fuel distribution sites in local counties to support residents affected by gas shortages.The Florida Division of Emergency Management on Saturday announced the opening of the refueling stations to support residents in the Tampa Bay area. Officials initially opened sites in Manatee, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties, but have since opened another location in Sarasota County.The governor said in a press conference Saturday morning the state is working on opening additional locations, including the "heart of Tampa," a second location in Pinellas County and more depending on demand.The sites will remain open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, with a limit of 10 gallons per vehicle.
