RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - I hope you’ve gotten outside on this Saturday across Central Virginia and soaked in all this warm and less humid air! Saturday night into Sunday morning, across the viewing area, will bring a milder overnight with temperatures dipping down into the 50s versus the 40s like in recent nights under lots of clear skies. Sunday for the second half of this current weekend, will bring a WARM afternoon with highs near 85 degrees under partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions from time to time, as our next storm system, a dry cold front approaches the state to our northwest by Sunday night. Monday is Columbus Day, and we will see partly sunny skies, cooler afternoon temperatures in the lower 70s with breezy conditions from time to time, as our latest storm system, a dry cold front, sweeps through Central Virginia. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week will be quite COOL across the region. Tuesday we will see partly sunny skies, highs around 60 degrees and possibly a PM shower or two in isolated locations. Wednesday we will see partly cloudy skies and highs around 60 degrees. Thursday will be sunny with highs in the lower 60s. The end of next week is when we will see another warming trend across the state, with highs on Friday in the middle 60s, next Saturday in the upper 60s and finally next Sunday in the lower 70s with sunny to mostly sunny skies all these days late next week. Unfortunately, no significant rain makers anytime soon, so continued dry conditions for the next 8 days or so. Finally, the tropics are quieting down this weekend, which is great news.
