High pressure has its’ last gasp tonight as it delivers clear skies and chilly overnight temperatures near 40 to start Sunday. An area of low pressure takes over with lots of cloudiness on Sunday, and with limited sunshine, highs will only top out in the upper 50s. Showers arrive Sunday night, with lows dropping to the upper 40s. Looking ahead to Indigenous Peoples Day Monday, expect clouds to start with showers, then clear for the afternoon. It will be a bit breezy with highs near 58. High pressure resumes charge of our weather, bringing back abundant sunshine and much colder temperatures through the remainder of the workweek.
