COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) -- A man arrested in Coventry early Saturday morning is accused of hitting parked vehicles while driving under the influence. Police said around 3:30 a.m. they found two men who were in a vehicle that drove off the road and hit two parked vehicles in a driveway on Hopkins Hill Road. The driver was 32-year-old John Carvalho of West Warwick, according to police. Both Carvalho and the other man were brought to Rhode Island Hospital for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
