Supplies for hurricane victims to be collected during Sunday's New Orleans Saints game

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Louisiana Red Cross, in partnership with the New Orleans Saints and the United Way of Southeast Louisiana, will be collecting supplies for victims of Hurricane Milton at the Gameday Drive on Sunday, Oct. 13.
According to the Red Cross, the drive will take place outside of the Caesars Super Dome before and during the Saints match against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Collections will begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue until the end of the first quarter.

Donations needed consist of essential cleaning supplies and hygiene items, such as the following:
Garbage bags.
Gloves.
Bleach.
Clorox wipes.
Tarps.
Paper towels.
Mold remediation products.
Shampoo.
Conditioner.
Soap.
Toothpaste.
Toothbrush.
Deodorant.
Feminine hygiene products.
Diapers.
Collections will take place at the following drop-off locations:
Gate A Ramps (Poydras Street) – East and West Side
Gate A Ground Level Entrance
Gate B Plaza Level Entrance (Top of Garage 1)
Gate C Ground Level Entrance
Gate D Plaza Level Entrance (Top of Garage 2)
North LaSalle Ground Level (Entrance to Champions Square)
South LaSalle Ground Level (Entrance to Champions Square)
Gate E Stairs Ground Level Entrance
Gate F Plaza Level Entrance (Top of Garage 5)
Gate G Ground Level Entrance
Gate H Plaza Level Entrance (Top of Garage 6)
Donations that cannot be accepted include food, toys, books, clothing or any open products.

This is a critical moment for their community, as many individuals and families are dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Milton and Hurricane Helene," said New Orleans Saints Owner Gayle Benson. "By coming together and donating essential supplies, we can make a meaningful impact on their recovery. Every item collected represents hope and support for those who need it most."
