The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5... A wind shift line swung through yesterday, turning our winds from the SW to more of a N or NW direction. We also had a weak trough swing through and that helped to bring some light to moderate showers in the area this afternoon. Highs today reflected the change in wind direction and the addition of clouds, only reaching the 50s to low 60. We should remain fairly quiet tonight with mostly cloudy skies. If we do see a rain chance, it will be far north and very late during the overnight period. Lows tonight should be scattered between the 30s and 40s. Heading out to Lambeau tomorrow? Let me just say, we were due for a forecast like this. Temperatures should not change very little, with upper 40s for tailgating and only reaching the low 50s by the afternoon with mid 50s south of GB. It will be fairly breezy day out of the North, gusting to 25mph. Highs up north will be in the upper 40s. A much more organized system will impact out weather tomorrow, brining a first round of light to moderate showers for the morning into the early afternoon. Most should see a lull before a second round slides in from the North for the later afternoon, evening and overnight. It will not be raining in one location all day long, but this system will be in the area tomorrow. Rainfall amounts will be lowest from GB and off to the south, only around a few tenths of an inch. Up north where it will be raining for a good majority of the day, totals will reach a half an inch to up to an inch. This wont break us out of our drought, but certainly will help the severe drought up north. Rain will taper during the late overnight hours and temperatures will fall into the lower 30s. Monday will be another day spent in the 40s and 50s. Yet again, another weak disturbance will drop in and bring the chance for a few scattered showers. The air in the upper levels will be cool enough to possible produce a few flakes up north. Tuesday we should be dry with a mix of sun and clouds. If we do see some wet weather, it will be closer to Lake Michigan. Confidence is low in this happening though. Highs will start to climb throughout the week, reaching the 70s by Friday.
