FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The Fort Wayne Police Department close a stretch of Jefferson Boulevard due to a crash. Dispatch confirms to WANE 15 that the injuries from the crash are non-life threatening. No information on how many vehicles or people are involved is known at this time. FWPD sent out a public safety message asking to avoid the area of Jefferson Blvd from Lindenwood to Main Streets while crews are on the scene. As of 6:45 p.m. Google Maps is showing the roads cleared. WANE 15 will provide updates as they become available.
