EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A water main break caused a sinkhole on Saturday morning, Oct. 12 in the Lower Valley, according to El Paso Fire. Fire dispatch said they were dispatched to the sinkhole at around 6:15 a.m. on Saturday along the 200 block of John Andreas Drive. That's near Ysleta Middle School. A car ended up in the sinkhole. Photos by Edith Montero/KTSM El Paso Water said that once the car is removed, they can determine whether nearby customers were impacted and they can start any repairs. El Paso Water crews are working to make repairs and several customers around the break are being impacted. El Paso Water did not have exact numbers of how many people were impacted by the break. No one was injured in the incident, dispatch said. We will update this story when we learn more.
