(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Preparations for the "In Their Honor Veterans Day Parade," set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, on Tejon Street are underway. The parade’s organizing committee is providing updates on event developments and participation opportunities. Those registered for the previous parade that was canceled must re-register to ensure their spot in the parade. Participation is free, and military units, veteran groups, and community organizations are welcome. Scan the QR code for more information. As veterans, active-duty service members, and military families are honored, the parade organizers are seeking sponsors who share the mission of making this year’s event memorable. A “Donate” button is available on the website. There is a specific need for a Flag Sponsor to help provide American flags for attendees, offering businesses a chance to demonstrate patriotism and support for those who serve.
