Texans claim to have witnessed 21,905 such sightings over the past 40 years, according to the report, which was compiled using data from the National UFO Reporting Center and social media posts. That’s one sighting per every 1,360 residents, making Texas the sixth-most-likely state in which to spot a mysterious flying object.
