(PIKES PEAK REGION) — Mueller State Park is holding its Friends of Mueller Firewood Sale on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. while supplies last, though there is a large quantity this year, and it is not expected to sell out. According to the Mueller State Park Facebook page, the wood is sold at the gate north of the Mueller main entrance. Signs are posted along the way from the main entrance, directing drivers where to go. Sales are cash only, and prices are $80 to fill a short-bed truck and $120 for a long-bed truck.
