SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A family is without a home Friday night following a kitchen fire on Parker Street. According to Fire Captain Drew Piemonte, the Springfield Fire Department was called to 770 Parker Street around 3 p.m. for a reported kitchen fire. No injuries were reported and seven dogs were rescued and are okay. The Arson and bomb squad is investigating the cause of the fire.
