MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCDP) said a person was run over by a truck as it backed up Thursday morning. Police said that at about 9:15 a.m., crews responded to the 3500 block of Cherry Valley Drive for the report of a traffic incident involving a Ford and a pedestrian.    When first responders arrived at the scene, they found the person injured. Medics took the person to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Car crashes into home near Fairfax Station MCDP said the person was sitting on the tailgate of a Ford pickup truck that was being used at the work site. Police said the truck started backing up and that the person fell from the tailgate of the truck which ran over the person.   The driver stayed at the scene and was working with police.
