Lockdown lifted at School Without Walls in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The School Without Walls in Rochester was briefly put on lockdown Friday due to what police called a "disturbance" involving a teenager.
Officers were called to the school on Broadway near Alexander Street around 12:30 p.m. Police said they found a teenager who "appeared to be experiencing a mental health crisis."
Investigators said the teenager was hospitalized for evaluation. No one was injured.
News 8 has reached out to the Rochester City School District for comment, but has not heard back.
