HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced the overnight closure of I-91 northbound at exit 14 in Holyoke, scheduled for Tuesday, October 15. New Ludlow High School Lions athletic complex features synthetic turf field The closure will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to allow for necessary lighting work along the highway. During this time, all northbound traffic will be required to exit at exit 14, cross Cherry Street, and re-enter I-91 via the Cherry Street on-ramp. MassDOT will have signage and messaging in place to guide drivers safely through the detour route. Drivers passing through the area are advised to expect delays, reduce their speed, and proceed with caution.
