SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Jury selection is complete for the trial of a Chatham County mother accused of killing her 20-month-old son, Quinton Simon. Leilani Simon allegedly beat Quinton to death and dumped his body in the trash. Police later found his body in a landfill. The jury is comprised of 10 men and six women. Opening statements are slated to begin on Monday at 9 a.m. Leilani Simon faces 19 charges, including malice and felony murder.
