The fires earlier this summer destroyed hundreds of structures including several homes before ensuing floodwaters caused more damage. New Mexico crews head to Florida and Georgia for hurricane relief efforts FEMA has offered assistance for temporary lodging, basic home repairs, property loss, and other expenses. The deadline to apply is October 19. Businesses also have eight days to apply for loans through the Small Business Association.
