WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport was selected as one of the top 10 airports in the United States by readers of the travel magazine Condé Nast. According to the magazine, 575,048 votes were cast in the 37th Annual Reader's Choice Awards survey. ALSO READ: TF Green ranked #2 airport in US by Travel + Leisure survey T.F. Green came in at number seven, praised as an accessible airport that is also generally a cheaper option than flying out of Boston Logan Airport. Connecticut's Hartford Bradley International Airport was number eight on the list and the only other New England airport to make the cut. Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in Georgia took the top spot and was also praised for its small size. Last year, Condé Nast named T.F. Green as one of the top 10 airports in the world.
