NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A man is hurt after an incident on Poplar Hall in Norfolk on Friday afternoon, police said. Police responded to the 5800 block of Poplar Hall Drive around 12:30 p.m. for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they determined that no one had been shot, according to police. However, they did find a man who had been hit by a dirt bike with non life-threatening injuries. Photos of the scene show a multi-vehicle crash in a parking lot. A light blue vehicle appears to have struck the driver's side of a gray sedan, causing the door to dent. In a separate photo, a bike is laying on the concrete with several items scattered around. This includes to white shoes seen on opposite sides of the bike as well as something clothing and what appears to be a backpack. 10 On Your Side has reached out regarding whether there was any connection or explanation for the multi-vehicle crash in the parking lot.
