Warm and sunny weekend expected, cold front arrives by middle of next week

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Residents across Louisiana can expect a warm and sunny weekend with no major weather disruptions.
Highs will range between 85 to 90 degrees on Saturday, accompanied by a light sea breeze along the coast. Nighttime temperatures will dip into the mid-60s, providing pleasant conditions for the evening hours.
Skies will remain mostly clear, with just a few mid-level clouds expected to pass through. The low humidity levels will create a noticeable temperature difference between day and night, especially inland.
A cold front is expected to move through the region by mid-week, possibly Tuesday or Wednesday. While it's unlikely to bring much rain, temperatures will drop into the 70s after its passage.
