MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has taken disciplinary action against three auto dealerships for failing to comply with state regulations. On Aug. 16, 2024, Expedited Fleet Dispatch Services, LLC, located at 1929 S. 56th St. in West Allis, had its license revoked after selling vehicles directly to retail customers, a violation of state law. The revocation was upheld during a Sept. 10, 2024, hearing. The dealership did not appeal the decision within the 30-day window. Appleton Ave. in Milwaukee, received a 14-day suspension starting Sept. 2, 2024. The suspension came after the dealership failed to process vehicle titles within seven business days and did not remit fees collected from customers for title and registration. Forest Ave. in Milwaukee, had its business license revoked. The DMV cited the dealership for failing to maintain its business facilities and dealer records, both required under state law. The revocation became final on Oct. 10, 2024, after the business chose not to appeal within the 30-day period. The WisDOT’s Dealer and Agent Section is responsible for licensing, regulating, and addressing disputes about dealership sales and warranty repairs. It also investigates complaints of odometer tampering and title fraud.
