COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- COSI held a celebration for International Day of the Girl on Friday. Girls in grades sixth through eighth attended the 2024 "Girls Will!" summit. At the event, they learned about life skills and how to strive to be multi-faceted. The event also featured music and cosmetics. One girl who attended said it's all about sharing ideas and striving to be your best self. "This could be a great experience for girls because the sky is not the limit," said Sophia Williams from Air Pink. The summit was hosted by Columbus City Councilmember Lourdes Barroso de Padilla.
